Purpose of PlayAcct
In the classroom or lab PlayAcct can be used to demonstrate how information flows from the ledger to the financial statements and how financial statements are linked to each other. PlayAcct can also be used by financial analysts to perform transaction analysis, to help prepare a statement of cash flows (under the direct or indirect method) and to examine the impact of converting a business from cash-basis to accrual-basis accounting.
